“Dr. Paula Hartman-Stein’s nature writing workshops have helped me to access my expressive and poetic self; a self that sees the world not as a resource but as a gift, a mysterious and wonderful whole. Her stimulating leads and thoughtful comments draw one from a world of machines and technology to observing the nature of places, plants, animals and our fellow life travelers and to curiosity, inquiry, and healing.”

“The student feedback we got from our graduate clinical students from The University of Queensland was fabulous – they loved Paula’s workshop. The workshop had both clinical trainees and community practitioners – Paula’s relaxed style enabled the group to interact in meaningful ways and engage with her materials. The nature reflective exercise was a highlight for all. Apart from honing mindfulness skills, writing and sharing this reflective experience created a rich tapestry of shared experience that continued to resonate with the students well after the event.”
