Krystal Culler
Research Associate
Krystal L. Culler is a current doctoral student in the MA/PhD program in the Psychology of Adult Development and Aging at The University of Akron. She received her BA in Sociology and Gerontology with a minor in developmental psychology from Youngstown State University. Her research interests include issues involving aging with developmental disabilities (DD), end of life issues (hospice and palliative care), work/retirement issues for older adults, aging policy (ADEA, ADA) and holistic community interventions for older adults’. She is the “mom” of Lady the Labrador, a service dog in training, who assists with programs at the center. She is employed as a research associate and program evaluator of MEMO-CAT and Creative Writing program groups.

Dan Stroble
Videographer and Office Assistant
Dan is a 2011 graduate of Ohio University, where he majored in Video Production. He has filmed numerous group club meetings, and, under Dr. Hartman-Stein’s direction, edits them into training videos. He also helps administrative assistant Carolyn with typing, filing, and managing the website. Dan also creates videos for the Kent Historical Society and writes screenplays.

Eric Stein
Environmental Educator
Eric is a 2011 graduate from the College of Wooster in Ohio, majoring in psychology with minors in Environmental Studies and English. He has worked as a climate change intern for the National Park Service in Cornish, NH and environmental educator in Northeast Ohio. His favorite pastimes are to run, hike and be present in nature. He enjoys writing nature poetry.
